Off with their heads! Or... try not to.

You are the advisor to the ruling Monarch of your Kingdom.
It's your job to manage the resources, relationships with neighboring countries, and the foul moods of the wicked King or Queen.
And make sure there is an heir ready to take the throne, should that blade come swinging down... or it will be your head next.

Gameplay

The game moves through cycles of years, that allow you to make one change per year. 
By choosing from sets of cards, you implement new Laws, marry princes and princesses to eligible Bachelors, Trade resources with neighboring countries or experience a random Event.
Lacking resources and various events will anger the common folk, and up goes the guillotine.
Manage your resources and heirs to prolong your own life as advisor.
Everything is randomly generated to allow for replay value and wacky scenarios.

Note!

The gameplay is not well-tested over a longer run. It's probably terribly unbalanced :')
Enjoy it as a proof of concept!

Known issues: new babies are added twice to the list of existing children and it messes up the family tree.

Sometimes the text messes up.
